It has been TOO LONG since we posted an update on the farm. Since the Vegetable CSA has been going on, most of our farm updates and photos have been going out to CSA shareholders in our weekly e-newsletter – a perk in joining our CSA! If you use Facebook, we periodically post little updates and photos on our fan page.
The weather has been phenomenal for produce this year. Amazingly, yesterday and today have been quite warm – the upper 90s. We’re busily harvesting lettuce, cantaloupes, and delicata squash, some of which you will be able to find at Ukiah Natural Foods Co-op if not in the Vegetable CSA shares. Part of our absence on the blog has been that we just got married! There was a lot of planning and work to pull it off here in beautiful Inland Mendocino County. Lots of family travelled far to be with us, and it was a gorgeous, sunny, happy day for us!
We’re slowly coming back to earth from our joyous big day, back to our fields and pastures, back to the rhythm of chores, harvest, and deliveries. We just wanted to share the happy news and let you know that we are here – still committed to the land and feeding our community, and committed to each other for the rest of our lives

WOW!! This is an absolutely beautiful picture!! I am overjoyed to read the beautiful news!! Congratulation to the both of you! Its been far too long since I have been “home”, not to mention caught up on all the latest of new of my friends and family! I am so happy for you guys!!
