We’re thrilled to again offer Berkshire pork! Ready in April 2011, you can order a whole or half pig. And new this year, we are offering CSA Berk Shares!
What is a CSA Berk Share?
It is the same delicious Berkshire pork we have raised in the past, but instead of committing to a whole or half pig, you commit to roughly 30 lb of a mix of cuts. With one upfront payment, you have a choice of getting a Fresh Berk Share of only fresh cuts, or a Smoked Berk Share which includes smoked bacon and ham.
As a community based farm, we farmers depend on your commitment to our sustainably-grown food. In return, we support you with our good, local, healthy food.

What’s your timing on this ? Thanks , Katie Pence-Robbins
Hi, Katie,
We currently have roaster pigs available. This is what we mean by roaster pigs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pig_roast They are $4.75/lb based on the hanging weight. They average out to $350.00 per roaster pig.
Our Berk Shares (CSA Berkshire Pork Shares) will be ready in March 2012, and we are taking sign-ups and payments for them now.
Thanks!
